An Excel add-in that turns the spreadsheet you're already working in into a validated, Dayforce-ready XML import — without your employee data ever leaving your computer.

What it does
- Builds a formatted worksheet with the right columns for the import you're doing — required columns added automatically.
- Finds the right import by field name, across every supported Dayforce import type.
- Checks every row against Dayforce's own schema before you upload, and takes you to whatever needs fixing.
- Exports a Dayforce-ready XML file to your Downloads folder, and can hold back rows that aren't ready yet.
- Opens an existing Dayforce XML file back into editable worksheets.
Your data stays with you
There is no sign-in and no account. Your workbook contents and the files it produces are never transmitted to Asterion or anyone else — everything is built, checked and saved locally. Once loaded, it works with no internet connection.
Getting it
Asterion Connect is free. In Excel, go to Insert → Get Add-ins and search for Asterion Connect. If your organisation restricts add-in installs, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to deploy it.
